For this overview on the right, only check the two checkboxes for the milkings, see picture.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-2354 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.harrytuinier.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Tip-van-de-Maand-December-2023-300x149.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"639\" height=\"317\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.harrytuinier.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Tip-van-de-Maand-December-2023-300x149.png 300w, https:\/\/www.harrytuinier.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Tip-van-de-Maand-December-2023.png 648w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 639px) 100vw, 639px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If all goes well, older cows that are already familiar with the robot will have over three milkings per day within a week.<\/p>\n<p>Heifers still have to learn it and so it can take longer.<br \/>\nThe sooner they are above 3 milkings, the better.<br \/>\nThat depends, among other things, on this:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How healthy and vital are they after calving?<\/li>\n<li>How soon after calving do you bring them to the robot?<\/li>\n<li>How much time do you put into learning<\/li>\n<li>What is the occupancy rate at the robot(s)?<\/li>\n<li>How much space is there around the entrance of the robot, can they access it if older cows are also walking around in the (waiting) area in front of the robot?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How quickly do your heifers get over three milkings?
